I ran by this painting and stopped dead. It was playing such a pretty piece that I decided to transcribe it. I felt bad for lack of arrangements this month due to all that other stuff, so I wanted to get this out before the month was over!

Quick update

How's everyone finding their new year? Good I hope.

This is just a quick check-in with you guys. Now that the site is pretty much how I want it, how do you like it? Anything you think that could be improved?

I just wanted to mention that my next plan is going to be trying to get AT LEAST one video recorded a month. I may not like recording myself, but I know that some people are visual learners and that can be helpful; to see someone playing a piece.

As sort of a middle ground, I hope you've noticed on the recent arrangements I've added left hand notation, which will kind of guide you to how I play it. It's just a suggestion though, and it can be very rewarding to come up with your own, but I thought in the meantime, it might be helpful to some. But the main plan is to start rolling out live videos again. I can't make any promises as far as the, well...technical side of them goes. Your buddy is just a composer who happens to love the guitar, I'm no tech wiz. ^_^ But I'll do my best!

A Very "Beary" Christmas - Christmas Medley

Just a little medley of a few Christmas songs. I've never tried to make a medley before, so it was a lot of fun. I got pretty weird with some of my chord substitutions, but I wrote out all the left hand postions for this one too, to help guide you through them. And it's not in Drop D! Can you believe it?

This most recent arrangement is a MONSTER, so I'm putting in left hand instructions all over the place to help guide you through it. It's taking a bit longer than I expected but I think it will be helpful for you all with this one. I'm halfway done, I hope to get it done by tomorrow!!
